LATAM Airlines growth goes on and on. LATAM has announced the long-haul route between Barcelona and Lima, Peru.

With 60.000 indirect origin and destination yearly passengers, Lima is the first unserved destination from Barcelona to South America and the second to Latin America, only under Mexico DF (62.000 yearly O&D indirect passengers).

This new route will have three weekly frequencies arriving in Barcelona on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at the following times:

LA2430 / 19:45 Lima - Barcelona 14: 25 + 1 / Mon-Thurs-Sat

LA2431 / 23:55 Barcelona - Lima 07: 45 + 1 / Ma-Fri-Sun

It is planned that the operating aircraft for these flights will be a Boeing 767-300 with a capacity for 221 passengers, 191 in economy class and 30 passengers in Business Class.

Nowadays, LATAM serves a direct route between Barcelona and Sao Paulo everyday this sumer with a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

With this schedule, LATAM guarantees agility in the distribution of passengers from its Lima hub to other main Latin America destinations including Chile, Colombia and Peru. With that commitment, LATAM Airlines expands its range of operations to Europe; which only flies to Madrid with a daily Boeing 767.
