With unconfirmed export figures, the fashion company already has more than 200 stores worldwide. In 2012 Blanco plans to open 60 stores outside Spain and to focus its strategy on Asia and Latin America.

Blanco has committed to internationalization as a key strategy in their business. For the firm, "International expansion comes as something natural and to be expected in a process of growth and consolidation of a brand. Once it has found its place in the country of origin and is solidly positioned, the next step is to go abroad and begin a new international phase”. It is a business model in which expansion to foreign markets is instilled.

The fashion brand Blanco is a family business founded in the early 60's, specializing in the design, production, distribution and marketing of all kinds of clothing accessories and garments for men and women. They also have a line of accessories to sell lingerie, swimwear and complements. Although the firm does not provide sales figures or percentage of exports, they have over 200 stores in Spain, Portugal, Greece, UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Morocco and Qatar.

In 2012, Blanco plans to expand its presence in Morocco, by opening a shop in Marrakech and in the spring will open its first store in Lyon (France). It plans to open over 60 stores outside Spain in 2012. According to Blanco "the other projects focus on Asia, Europe, Latin America and other emerging countries, but we cannot be more specific because we are still in negotiations."

In order to secure positions in foreign markets, the firm has created the trade name 'SUITEBLANCO', to operate outside our borders. "This is due to the important expansion process we are conducting, as well as to positioning and strategic reasons in the international market. It's a slow process, which will last several years. For the time being, we have started with new openings abroad", said sources from the firm.
