During 2011, SWISS increased its number of flights to and from Spain by 30%, thus enabling them to carry over 1.6 million passengers to and from Spain, according to figures from AENA - representing an increase of 26% over the same period last year. The company currently operates 147 weekly flights between Switzerland and five major national airports: Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia.

As for its offer to the Asian giant, Swiss has increased its offer to China with the newly opened route to Beijing, a destination to be added to Hong Kong and Shanghai. This new frequency operates five weekly services between Zurich - Beijing and SWISS plans to make this destination a daily service (7 flights per week) from May 31 of the present year.
