The 5- year- old Spanish outdoor furniture company Vondom recently opened a subsidiary in the United States to boost its international expansion. The office, showroom and distribution center will be located in High Point, North Carolina, hub of the American furniture industry and site of two of the industry's largest trade shows.

To date, Vondom has worked with top level Spanish designers like Javier Mariscal, Ramon Esteve and A-Cero architecture studio, as well as with prestigious international figures such as Karim Rashid, Stefano Giovannoni and Ludovica Serafini-Roberto Palomba.

Vondom now joins the list of Spanish outdoor furniture companies, including Gandia Blasco and Kettal, with U.S. subsidiaries.

In May, Vondom will make its first appearance at the major international trade show HD Expo in Las Vegas, as part of the Spanish pavilion organized by ICEX, the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade.

The U.S. is the scene of the Plan"Made in/by Spain", an initiative executed by ICEX to advance the international expansion of Spanish companies, products, brands and services in the U.S. market.
