Barcelona, 19 November 2020 – LEVEL bolsters connectivity between Barcelona and Latin America recovering its routes from El Prat to Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile for passengers and cargo. The flights are already available at www.flylevel.com as well as through the other usual sales channels.

Following the opening of Argentine airspace, LEVEL has resumed regular flights between Barcelona and Buenos Aires. The airline, which had implemented a special flight operation in collaboration with the Argentine authorities, has begun to offer regular flights once again on www.flylevel.com. During the coming weeks, the company will connect these cities with a Christmas schedule, and from 12 January, the route will be consolidated with three weekly frequencies. Flights will depart from Barcelona on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and from Buenos Aires on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

In addition, from 21 December, the airline will resume regular flights connecting Barcelona and Santiago de Chile. These operations temporarily interrupted owing to the coronavirus crisis, will return at Christmas in order to provide a bridge between the Chilean capital and Barcelona during this special time. After the Christmas operations, the airline will connect both cities with twice-weekly frequencies. Flights from Barcelona – El Prat will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In return, flights will leave the Chilean capital on Wednesdays and Fridays.

In the words of Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial Officer at LEVEL: “It is great news for the connectivity of Barcelona that LEVEL resumes operating regular flights to Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile, two cities in Latin America that are very relevant for their economic and social ties with Barcelona”. “We are conscious that the present situation requires the greatest flexibility, and for that reason, we trust that the free unlimited date changes we offer with each reservation satisfy the new requirements of our customers”, she adds.

John Cheetham, Chief Commercial Officer at IAG Cargo said: “We are delighted to offer our customers these regular services once again. Our flights between these regions serve important trade routes and with IAG Cargo’s wider connections these services will provide further opportunities for our customers at both ends.”

The airline resumes these routes for both passengers and cargo, offering maximum flexibility in the purchase conditions. Flights include unlimited free changes regardless of the selected fare so that customers need only pay the fare difference if any.
