IATA (The International Air Transport Association) revealed that present trends in air transport suggest passenger numbers could double to 8.2 billion in 2037.
IATA released data for global air freight markets showing that demand, measured in freight tonne kilometers (FTKs), rose 3.1% in October 2018, compared to the same period the year before.
It is estimated that the Barcelona El Prat Airport will close this year with an 11% increase in air cargo.
