BARCELONA AIRLINES AND ROUTES 2018

Barcelona keeps having double-digit growth during the last four years. Expecting at the end of 2018 a growth above 11% compared to 2017, exceeding 175,000 tons.

The two main cargo operators in Barcelona are Emirates and Qatar, two airlines that exceed the two couriers UPS and DHL.

Highlight the stabilization of American and Turkish in fourth and fifth position in the ranking, as well as the growth of Air China and Cathay.

The volume of air cargo in 2018, cannot be missed the new longhaul routes that began operating in 2017. In said study, it is important to mention the routes of Hong Kong and Seoul.

In one hand, Hong Kong is an important route in import while Seoul is more balanced between export and import. On the other hand, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco are mainly export routes.
