The Fútbol Club Barcelona footballers have broken all records, but not precisely in sporting terms. The expedition led by Xavi Hernández has completed the longest flight in the history of JT Barcelona El Prat airport (Barça will make a flight of more than 17,000 kilometers in a Boeing 787-900).

Onboard a Qantas Boeing 787-9 designed specifically for this route, the players flew from Barcelona to Sydney.. The plane took off at 2 a.m. for Darwin (Australia) where, after more than 14,000 kilometers covered in 16 hours of flight time, it made a technical stop to refuel. Later, after another 3,148 kilometers and four hours of travel, it landed in Sydney.

Global stresses that its handling division (Groundforce) has been chosen to attend the flight.
