WestJet has announced a new route between Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) and Barcelona-El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport (BCN) from 27 June.
The seasonal route will operate four times per week as part of WestJet’s summer 2025 schedule, offering Atlantic Canadians a direct connection to one of the airline’s most sought-after European destinations.

WestJet has announced a new route between Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) and Barcelona-El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport (BCN) from 27 June.
The seasonal route will operate four times a week as part of WestJet's 2025 summer schedule, offering Atlantic Canadians a direct connection to one of the airline's most sought-after European destinations.
This route will connect those eager to explore Barcelona, Catalonia. It will complement WestJet's wider transatlantic schedule from Atlantic Canada. As demand for travel to Europe remains strong, this addition further strengthens WestJet's presence in the market, offering more choice and flexibility for Canadians living on the East Coast."Schedules:
