Barcelona remains in fifth position as a city in number of passengers by Origin / Destination (O&D). This figure demonstrates the power of Barcelona as its destination or origin compared to other European cities, in fact, Barcelona is always one of the best-connected cities in Europe. In the accumulated annual volume until August 2019, BCN is in fifth position just before of Milan, the same position in respect to the previous year.
It should be noted that the main cities in the ranking have traffic divided into several airports Milan (BGY, LIN, MXP), Istanbul (IST, SAW), Moscow (DME, SVO, VKO), Paris (CDG, ORY, BVA), London (LHR, LGW, STN, LTN, LCY).
