Although for security reasons imposed by the countries, not all of them can freely transport passengers only for essential reasons, they also transport cargo, which is very important at the moment.

The 47 long-haul routes that Barcelona reached in 2019, with almost all of the destinations with large hubs connecting them to the rest of the world, are beginning to return in a staggered manner according to governments and the needs of supply or demand.

In April Etihad Airways returned with its route to Abu Dhabi, in June, Singapore Airlines to Singapore, Qatar Airways to Doha, Royal Air Maroc to Casablanca, Air Arabia to Casablanca, Nador, Tangier, Fez, Qatar Airways to Doha, Emirates to Dubai, and now LEVEL announces that in September the routes from New York and Buenos Aires will return.

We have less left!   We're almost at 35% over 2019 Summer season routes (16/47)  Great news for Barcelona!

The BARDC  is working to get the routes we had and improve Barcelona's connectivity with the whole world! We are missing  airlines like American Airlines, Delta Airline,  United Airlines, Air Canada Rouge, Air Transat, Westjet, LEVEL, Norwegian, Avianca, LATAM, Asiana, Korean Air, Air China, Cathay Pacific, Egyptair, PIA, El Al, Royal Air Jordania, Arkia, BirdAirways, and Tunis Air.

We will support all of them to come back as soon as possible!  We are confident that Barcelona will link the world again!
