Guangdong Airport Authority visited the host of World Routes 2017, Barcelona/Catalona,
Guangzhou wil be the future World Routes Host 2018

On November 29,  we received the visit of a delegation from Guangdong Airport Authority to share the experience of the World Routes Barcelona 2017.  Guangzhou will host the World Routes next year 2018.

Barcelona has celebrated the congress with a maximum historical level of participation and a high quality in the organization, it is an example to follow for the future cities that receive this congress.

Delegation list from Guangzhou: Mr. Li Ming, Vice General Manager of Guangdong Airport Authority, Mr. Du Tianyu - Chairman of the Labour Union, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Co., Ltd, Mr.  Han Bo-Chief Commander, New Zhanjiang Airport Construction Headquarter, Mr. Yang Yong - Vice General Manager of Zhangjiang Airport Co., Mrs. Lin Suling -Director, Female Employee’s Committee, Guangdong Airport Authority, Mrs. Liang Huiqing-Chairman of the Labour Union, Guangdong Airport Hanghe Energy Co.,Ltd.

From Barcelona 2017 Host was Aerport de Catalunya/Goverment of Catalona with the suport of Barcelona City council, Catalonia Tourism Board, Barcelona Tourism Board.

Guangzhou is a metropolitan city steeped in history, It is one of the world’s oldest and busiest trade hubs, delighting visitors with its culturally diverse history and cosmopolitan charm. Like Barcelona with its creativity, design and innovation.

Contributing one eighth of China’s aggregate economic value, the province of Guangdong continues to grow in its economic scale and financial capability, whilst retaining its rustic charm.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is the third-largest airport in China and one of the world’s fastest-growing hubs. Major investment plans, including the completion of five runways and three terminals, are set to break Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport into the world’s top 10 largest airports early next decade.

By 2025, Guangzhou aims to achieve 620,000 flights, three million tonnes of cargo and 100 million passengers per year, confirming its place as a world-class hub for connectivity.
