The airport manager foresees tendering 300,000 square meters at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona - El Prat ariport (Barcelona).
Aena is moving decisively in the development of its real estate megaplan, which contemplates an investment of 4,261 million euros in the land adjacent to the Adolfo Suárez-Barajas (Madrid) and El Prat (Barcelona) airports, with the intention of bidding for the tender documents for the first plots this year.
The interest detected between funds and Socimis has encouraged the airport manager to take the first step and take out, predictably in December, about 500,000 square meters of land between Madrid and Barcelona. The firm led by Maurici Lucena will tender 300,000 square meters and a plot for hotel use in Barcelona, market sources explain EXPANSIÓN.
This is a first phase of a larger plan that, in addition to land to develop logistics assets, which will be put out to tender in different phases, includes hotels, offices and commercial assets. While the works for the implementation of the real estate plans are still in progress, the total areas planned for logistical uses have not undergone any significant adjustment so far. It is a phased distribution and the allocation process is still under study, "sources of the company point out".
