Mexico City, July 19, 2019.- Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, announced that come
December 10, it will increase connectivity between Barcelona and the Mexican capital,
increasing its service from three to five weekly flights. In addition, the carrier will launch daily
service effective March 2020.
Aeromexico, which has served Spain for more than 60 years, has indicated that this decision is
designed to meet the demand of its Catalan customers, which has been very positive since it
started flights to Mexico City in June of this year.
With two new flights to be added at the end of this year on Mondays and Saturdays, customers
traveling from Barcelona will have even better connection options with Mexico and Latin
America. The new itineraries will be as follows:
Barcelona - Mexico City* AM 38 2:40 p.m. 19:35 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Mexico City - Barcelona* AM 37 6:20 p.m. 12:40 a.m. (+1) Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Spain is a very special country for Aeromexico, as it was the airline’s gateway to the European
