Air Canada presents 2025 Summer Programme and new Country Manager to the travel industry

Air Canada, with the support of the Barcelona Air Route Development Committee (BARDC) , presents its producer, the summer season, and its new Country Manager, Jose Blazquez, to the tourism industry at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.

Air Canada is Canada's largest airline and the topmost provider of scheduled passenger services in the Canadian market, in the Canada-US cross-border market, and in the international market to and from Canada, while being the only Canadian airline connecting Madrid and Barcelona with Canada all year round.

They are a founding member of the Star Alliance™, which offers the most comprehensive air transport network in the world.

Air Canada, which operates routes from Barcelona to Toronto and Montreal, presented its summer schedule with increased capacity as well as its great in-flight service, with its three distinct classes: Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class.

They offer the ultimate end-to-end travel experience, access to their Maple Leaf Lounges and Air Canada Signature Suites for select guests, executive or Classic Pods that convert into a fully flat bed, a premium food and beverage service, Concierge Service, and Amenity Kits in partnership with Acqua di Parma.

Air Canada has an Atlantic Joint Venture agreement with Lufthansa Group and United Airlines. This allows for combinable fares, 16 hubs, and 60 transatlantic links, offering 492 destinations

Further, together with United Airlines, they have a joint business agreement for the Canada-US cross-border market; as well as codeshare agreements with over 38 Star Alliance and non-Star Alliance partners, plus more than 100 interlines, 90+ code-sharing markets and 260+ daily flights.

They travel to 55+ US destinations such as Las Vegas, Seattle, Orlando, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Chicago.

Canada enjoys a great advantage for travel to the USA through the Connection Area located within the Terminal: the suitcase is picked up at the final destination after passing US customs in Canada, with differentiated USA and CANADA borders, and entering the USA as a domestic flight; with the eTA visa – which can be processed in 5 minutes and 3 simple steps – streamlining the trip to Canada or the US.
