United Airlines trusts again in Barcelona with a new daily route: Barcelona – Chicago ORD
Daily direct and non-stop flights between Barcelona (BCN) and Chicago O'Hare (ORD) by UNITED

The Barcelona Air Routes Development Committee (BARDC) within its Strategic Plan 2021-2024, has as its main objective the recovery of routes/companies that operated before the pandemic, increasing capacity to some existing destinations with high demand but little supply, as well as increasing new routes to new destinations.

North America, with more than 1.5Mill of unserved indirect demand in 2019, is the area with the highest demand for Barcelona. Specifically, the US, with more than 1.2 million, still has a demand much higher than the supply.

The recovery of Barcelona's connectivity with the USA has been fast, with routes to the US recovering between 2021 and 2022. This new route, Chicago, will serve to cover the high demand, with more than 77,000 tickets in 2019 and more than 40,000 tickets in 2021 and 2022, with one of the main hubs in the USA. United Airlines, with this route, will offer high connectivity with more than 500 daily flights to more than 150 destinations in the US and the rest of the world.

This route is operated by United Airlines. United at Chicago O'Hare is the largest airline operating out of Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). We currently operate nearly 500 daily flights to more than 150 destinations in the United States and around the world from our Chicago hub.

The route operates daily at the times indicated in the attached photograph.
