On March 28, American Airlines returned to connect  Miami to Barcelona with a daily flight and new equipment by Boien 787 800.

Miami is American Airlines' hub for the USA, Central, and South America. With this route, Barcelona's connectivity with the World is exponential.

In total, the carrier will resume 10 routes from the U.S. to airports in the UK and Europe, including Dublin (DUB), Frankfurt (FRA), London Heathrow (LHR), Milan (MXP), Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), and Rome (FCO).
